Your welder log never leaves your browser
Everything you enter in the free continuity tool — welder names, stamps, processes, weld dates, your shop name — is stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or visible to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data deletes it; that also means we cannot recover it for you, so use the CSV export as your backup.
The waitlist email
If you join the Pro waitlist, your email address is collected through Formspree, a form-handling service, and delivered to the developer. It is used to tell you when the beta opens and for occasional product updates. It is never sold, shared, or added to any third-party marketing list, and any email we send includes a way to say “stop.” Formspree’s own privacy policy applies to their handling of the submission.
Analytics
This site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (page views and search terms that brought visitors here) to understand whether the tool is useful. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, no selling of data.
Fonts
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers. No other third-party resources are loaded.
Contact
ContinuityLog is built by one independent developer. Questions about this policy or your data: send a message through the waitlist form — it reaches the developer directly, and every message is read.
